This was Ryan Jones, TB-2400 of the 501^st Legion.

Ryan passed away this morning. I will admit that I never truly got the chance to get to know Ryan personally, I only saw him in passing at Dragon*Con almost every year that I went. However, I knew plenty of his friends, and it is true that you can know a man and his character by friends he keeps. Ryan had tremendous friends who cared deeply for him and are just all around tremendous and amazing people, just underscoring how fantastic Ryan himself was.

In addition to being an exemplary trooper, an all around wonderful person, and the single greatest Doctor Who costumer I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, Ryan was an amazingly talented fiddle player. Ryan can be seen here playing the fiddle for a sick child at a community event the MidSouth Garrison participated in.

He will be deeply missed.
